Welcome to

Midtown

Midtown Atlanta, also known simply as Midtown, stands as a densely populated blend of commercial and residential spaces. The central business district boasts a skyline dominated by towering office buildings, condominiums, hotels, and retail establishments lining Peachtree Street between North Avenue and 17th Street. Positioned between Downtown to the south and Buckhead to the north, Midtown holds the distinction of being Metro Atlanta’s second-largest business district.

The neighborhood continues to undergo transformation with the addition of condominiums, apartments, and loft-style residences, contributing to the dynamic atmosphere that epitomizes urban living in Atlanta. These residences, predominantly situated along or in close proximity to Peachtree Street, form the Midtown residential neighborhood—a historic expanse covering approximately 360 acres. This residential area primarily comprises single-family homes dating from the early to mid-20th century, arranged in a grid pattern and bounded by 10th Street, Ponce de Leon Ave., Piedmont Ave., and Lakeview Ave.

Residents within the Midtown core enjoy convenient access to MARTA rail stops, local bus routes, bike lanes, and excellent interstate connectivity. Piedmont Park, an expansive green space and the focal point of Midtown, underwent a significant expansion in 2011. The park is surrounded by the Midtown business district to the west, Ansley Park to the northwest, the BeltLine, Morningside, and Virginia Highland to the east, and the Midtown Historic District to the south. Adjacent to the park, the Atlanta Botanical Garden complements the area.

Renowned for its concentration of art and cultural institutions, Midtown attracts over six million visitors annually, particularly during major events like the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, Music Midtown, and Georgia Tech athletic games. Living in Midtown provides residents with a vibrant urban experience, characterized by numerous bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks, fostering a high level of walkability for those seeking to explore the city’s offerings.
